Gosh where to start?!? I love the Sheaffer sub brands. It's interesting how Sheaffer would experiment with new filling systems and new plastics using sub-brands. In the mid 1930s Sheaffer wanted to try out the new Vac-fil and this pen is where it started. If it was a disaster it wouldn’t tarnish Sheaffer's good name. Lucky for us it worked. This pen is in the same marine green celluloid used in the Balance line made in the 30s, also this is the only time Sheaffer used marine green in a vac-fil filler system. This pen is in outstanding condition, gin clear ink view barrel, great color and gold filled trim.
