I received a Sheaffer Balance Combo fountain pen/pencil which was in near mint condition, better than the photographs. Shipping was fast and the quality was well above my expectations. Normally, I have to tinker for days with a vintage pen to get it to everyday use status, but this pen entered the rotation right after filling it.

This is my grail pen! The color, style, and inlaid nib was perfect to my liking! After some simple cleaning it worked better than all of my other pens! It has a very smooth and perfect sized nib! The weight and body was very comfortable during use so far! The converter needs a little work (but just for looks, it still functions perfectly!) The pens condition is near perfect, the scratches being barely noticeable. This pen also happens to be made the year I was born. Happiest purchase I’ve made and for a fantastic price!

I bought this pen as my second Parker 51. Initially I bought an aerometric filler model. But, once I had one 51, like many pen collectors I suddenly needed another. So mere weeks after receiving my aero 51 I was on the hunt for a vac 51. Hence, I bought this pen. Great service, love this pen! Will keep Ozark Pen Shop on my radar for future reference!
