I can't believe it's been a year
As we mark the first anniversary of Ozark Pen Shop, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since starting the website. The journey has been filled with memorable experiences, inspiring conversations, and the warmest welcome from the incredible fountain pen community. We’ve had the privilege to meet so many enthusiasts who share our passion for vintage and quality writing instruments, and we’re deeply grateful for everyone who’s supported us along the way.
A Year of Connections at Pen Shows
Throughout the year, we attended several pen shows that allowed us to connect face-to-face with fellow collectors, artisans, and vendors. Starting with the California Pen Show and then traveling to the Arkansas Pen Show, Chicago Pen Show, St. Louis Pen Show, Dallas Pen Show, and finally the Ohio Pen Show (Mike is in Ohio as I write this), each experience has been unique, inspiring, and filled with the excitement of connecting over our shared love of pens. Every show has added to our understanding of the world of fountain pens, introduced us to incredible individuals, and deepened our appreciation for this art form.

Our journey wouldn’t have been possible without the encouragement, mentorship, and support from some truly wonderful people in the pen community. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tim Byler, Rob Bader, the Repperts, Doug Burg, and the Arkansas Pen Club. Their knowledge, guidance, and friendship have enriched our first year immensely.
